Its the editors' job to find redundancies like this.

And she indulged the "sin" far more in him than she has with Sanderson. I once chuckled about it, but Jordan didn't have his wife edit his work, he married his editor (a stroke of genius I bet many aspiring writers wish had occurred to them. :P ) If the editor has a copy of Fowler's Modern English Usage Dictionary they'll ignore the criticism rather than what's being criticized. ;)

I don't think it's that big a deal. It's not like the guy doesn't know pronouns exist or something. :P

Also, (in)elegant variation is a colossal pain in the rear rarely worth the effort. :whistle:
