The Wise Ones are supposed to be the authority figures regarding the Dreamworld but there's one very basic thing they never showed any evidence of knowing:
When you are in Teleranriod your very soul is your body there and if you die you will never be reborn.
This gap in their knowledge is simply horrible.

keep silent and not interact with people in TaR. They get a special deal, and are probably folks who care a lot about responsibility and duty, like Birgitte and her guy. But regular folks - Else Grinwell, some of those Congars or Coplins, HERID FEL - they would be all over our heroes. The Congars would be complaining, and Herid would be telling Rand about death and how to win TG.
Your reaction is strong and bombastic, but Egwene's never been the source of all knowledge. The WO play down their abilities a lot, although they do talk in absolutes. Did you never notice that Moggy and Lanfear never talked about going to TaR to find Perrin's family and use them against him?...
