So I just discovered that Shakespeare's "The Tempest" has been adapted for the big screen, starring Helen Mirren as Prospera and other highly talented and established actors. The movie will be out this upcoming Friday, Dec. 10th and I am so excited I could pee!
The dialogue remains Shakespearean a la DiCaprio's Romeo & Juliet. However, it is directed by Julie Taymor (Frida, Titus, Across the Universe) and gorgeously shot.
And that song at the end? Sæglópur by Sigur Ros. So fucking good. I'm glad they used that song and hope it's in the movie.
Are you excited as I am?

Why? Brand isn't that bad, and at least he got a role that closely projects his normal persona. *NM*

I still can't believe he got Katy Perry to marry him. She, and her glorious boobs, deserves better! *NM*
