So I just discovered that Shakespeare's "The Tempest" has been adapted for the big screen, starring Helen Mirren as Prospera and other highly talented and established actors. The movie will be out this upcoming Frriday, Dec. 10th and I am so excited I could pee!
The dialogue remains Shakespearean a la DiCaprio's Romeo & Juliet. However, it is directed by Julie Taymor (Frida, Titus, Across the Universe) and gorgeously shot.
