Quite a few roles have night kill powers, town, scum, etc as well as reflexive options like the PGO I mentioned above. As of now we have 2 dead scum and 2 dead town. Victory comes, in a normal game, when the scum are eliminated for the town and when the scum make up half or more of the players when not. So for instance if there were 3 of team they'd win if the town had 3 and they had 3 living, by default. Technically victory comes when only an obviously suicidal action could prevent victory by a given team, like 2 allied scum and 1 townie and the scum voting for one of each other. With the multiple dead scummers though we probably have an extra killer runner around, possibly one of the dead. If I had to guess at the most probable, then 3 scum plus a SK and the scum are now 2 and the SK dead, with someone having done the extra kill, a vigilante or PGO. On the other hand we could have 2 teams of 2 scum or 3 teams of 2 scum. In any event the town has a lead right now I'd think.
Well for an auto victory for the scum to happen right this moment they'd need to have a 4-person faction and the town would have to have no double voters or vigilantes, we couldn't vote for one of them to die otherwise without their help which they would do even if we had someone bang to rights guilty. Or some third faction running around, another scum faction or SK or cult. There's another possible scum kill now I think on it, cults aren't allowed to recruit scum faction members, and the typical result is for them to die trying or kill their target or even both, depending on version. The notion of a cult is fairly disturbing but they could easily have just wiped themselves out.
