Good movie, very funny in spots. damookster Send a noteboard - 16/04/2020 04:10:16 AM

I agree Khrushchev was the closest there was to a sympathetic character, which was a weakness from a historical perspective. I was born the year before he became Premier so I have no memories of most of his career. But I remember the TV news of him banging his shoe at the UN. And I have vivid memories of the Cuban Missile Crisis and the fear that we had only days to live.

But I still enjoyed the movie. Watched it twice on Showtime.

Khrushchev was the worst. Beria was actually the best. And yes, 1917? - 15/04/2020 07:52:57 PM 370 Views
