Part of it is we don't know him well yet. In fact, the first time he responded to one of my posts my thoughts were basically, "Cool, man; hey, that's Geniac, Antigones husband!" It's not like he's just your accessory, but if there are less people here than wotmanias heyday, there are still a lot of personalities to juggle, and that's further complicated by having to associate many old friends with brand new SNs.

It's not always a bad thing if half the site doesn't immediately respond to what you post, either. But, like I say (as should not) tell him to keep at it and I'm sure he can count on a dozen flames every time he posts a thread, too (seriously, I got trolled on football? FOOTBALL?!!! )

EDIT: I forgot to explicitly state my point: Once he's been here a while, sharing his thoughts, experiences and knowledge, he'll make his own indelible impression (for good or ill... ) on our crazies (you did warn him it's contagious? ) There'll be people who can't stand him (as unlikely as it seems, there's always a few, except for me; I can at least tolerate pretty much everyone, even if lose it on a few occasionally) and people who can't imagine the place without him. Just because he hasn't fully defined his role in everyone elses minds yet doesn't mean he won't, but much like the formation of RAFO (as with wotmania) it will take time, but be worth the effort. Best of luck to him with that, and to ya'll with everything.
