Paul is saying what he always has: The commander-in-chief needs Congress' permission to command

View original postPlease point to how what they are saying matches what you are saying. By the way the WH is claiming that they don't need the approval of congress to act so it will be hard to claim later that he was bound by congress. Hell he bombs other countries on regular basis without congressional approval. He even bomber the moon.
Which, again, gives Obamas hasty "red line" pledge the escape clause he desperately wants in the face of overwhelming popular opposition. Lieberman and King are not saying he needs congressional assent, granted, but ARE saying he is obligated to ignore Congress and do the very thing the rest of their party threatened impeachment for doing without congressional approval. So, as lame as Obamas abrupt flip flop is, the "loyal" opposition mirroring it with a flip flop of their own is even lamer. He can at least claim intimidation from polling or make an appeal to constitutional balance of power: What is their excuse for saying the very thing they called impeachable for months is now a constitutional duty?

You can't effectively bomb Chemical and biological weapons stockpiles without using a nuke.

Unsure; I like the War Powers Resolution approach, though I am unsure of its constitutionality.

Considering the WPRs constitutionality and agreeing Obama is being cowardly are not talking points.
