In the UK you get free mental healthcare (but not necessarily counselling, depending on what your area has). It's also included in most healthcare packages from employers.

I've used the NHS for mental healthcare. I got free counselling sessions (although I made a small donation to cover them as well), and of course my medication is paid for (free in Scotland and Wales, subsidised in England, not sure about Northern Ireland). There are also free exercise programmes for some problems like Post Natal Depression since it is known to have some beneficial effect.
