Other Information
BOOKS I'VE READ IN 2012 (no set target, thinking maybe 50):
January
1. Mistress of the Empire ~ Janny Wurts and Raymond E Feist (fantasy, reread)
2. Frederica ~ Georgette Heyer (regency romance, reread)
3. Anno Dracula ~ Kim Newman (alternate history/fantasy/horror)
February
4. Pride and Prejudice ~ Jane Austen (classic, reread)
5. Dragonquest ~ Anne McCaffrey (science fantasy, reread)
6. The White Dragon ~ Anne McCaffrey (science fantasy, reread)
7. The Sisters Grimm ~ Michael Buckley (children's book, modern fairytale)
8. Soulless ~ Gail Carriger (steampunk/alternate history, reread)
9. Changeless ~ Gail Carriger (steampunk/alternate history, reread)
10. Blameless ~ Gail Carriger (steampunk/alternate history, reread)
March
11. Heartless ~ Gail Carriger (steampunk/alternate history, reread)
12. Timeless ~ Gail Carriger (5th and final book of The Parasol Protectorate. Absolutely loved it; thought it a very fitting finale. Steampunk/alternate history.)
13. A Wizard of Earthsea ~ Ursula Le Guin (Finally got around to reading these. They're quite lovely. Fantasy.)
14. The Tombs of Atuan ~ Ursula Le Guin (Fantasy. Enjoyed it, although it started a little slowly, but by the end I wished there'd be more stories about Tenar.)
15. The Farthest Shore ~ Ursula Le Guin (Again, slow start but great ending. Will be upset if it is indeed the last of Ged. Fantasy.)
April
16. Tehanu ~ Ursula Le Guin (Didn't like it anywhere near as much as the other three. Was darker, angrier, less charming. Fantasy)
Ongoing:
The Mahabharata
