When my screen flickered, they fixed it. When the plastic was miscoloured, they fixed it. As long as there is an admitted problem, they fix it. Free.

And I suppose that is why the forum version of support is good: it allows people to band together. But I am not a fan of that support. I like being able to talk directly to a person, which is a bit more difficult if you don't live in a city with an Apple Store.


Im not an expert. I just knew there was no sound coming from it. The forum told my exact problem, provided a phone number, and told me I could get a replacement for free. I was just going to write it off since I'm anyway getting an iPhone in December.
