I think that is supposed to work - sprinkle on carpets and let sit for a while before vacuuming.

We don't have carpets. Apparently, the British style of apartment = wooden floors. I hate it. It's cold.

Anyway!

I have liberally sprinkled baking soda over the bed and floor so hopefully by tomorrow it won't be as bad.
