We don't really do holidays in the same way Americans do, apart from Easter and Christmas. Over here, the way Easter is celebrated (i.e. hardly at all, and just with Easter eggs) upsets me. I want my days off!
Very well, thank you. And you?
I did.
Well. That's mostly true. I came to Edinburgh without seeing it first, and it was always my plan to stay here for at least 6 months. But I left it open ended, and was willing to do whatever felt right.
Revived. I've renewed relationships with quite a few friends from primary school via Facebook. It's nice. Certainly it's not anywhere near as close as we used to be, but making plans to see people I've not seen in 14 or so years is pretty cool.
I have no experience in this matter.
Melon. Mmmmm.
Yes. Most cars in New Zealand are manuals. Same over here.
Um. My Dad crashed us into a tree once.
Not very far. About 5 hours a day or so.
WoT, David Eddings, Georgette Heyer, A Room With A View.
Good luck.
2. How have you been?
Very well, thank you. And you?
3. Would you ever move (permanently) to a place you had never seen or visited before?
I did.

4. How do you feel about lapsed friendships - something that can always be revived, or a sign that loyalty is missing? If the latter, how long before you call it quits on the relationship?
Revived. I've renewed relationships with quite a few friends from primary school via Facebook. It's nice. Certainly it's not anywhere near as close as we used to be, but making plans to see people I've not seen in 14 or so years is pretty cool.
5. Can exes ever really be friends?
I have no experience in this matter.
6. What is your favorite summer food?
Melon. Mmmmm.
7. Do you know how to drive a manual car? What country are you from?
Yes. Most cars in New Zealand are manuals. Same over here.
8. What's the scariest driving experience you've ever had?
Um. My Dad crashed us into a tree once.
9. What's the longest (most driving hours per day) road trip you've ever done?
Not very far. About 5 hours a day or so.
10. Do you have any books or pieces of literature you reread yearly (or according to some other sort of schedule)? What are they?
WoT, David Eddings, Georgette Heyer, A Room With A View.
Other news with me - am planning to set out for my new home in WA, bright and early Tuesday morning. It will be a long drive, and I don't entirely know where I'll end up. I hope it will be nice.
Good luck.
