I clicked on this because it promised to be "invaluable advice to dispel the despair", which after driving Tor nutty with groaning over the news and deep sighs whenever Cameron shows up on my screen, I realised was what I needed.

There are many fine, upstanding, extremely enlightened conservatives British people around - On this board, in your life I imagine, and in general. There are many who are happy to see that the Liberal Democrats are in power with the Tories, no less.
Seriously, stop acting like your world is ending and try to see across the aisle, as it were, and find common ground. Otherwise you could just move across the sea back to Norway where Labour is still in power.
