Thought it would be cool to have an admin-controlled calendar of events coming up in the SF/F world. Things like book signings, conventions, publication dates and the like.
The fields could be place, time and a link to further information (obviously as well as date).

Admins for each MB could do one, perhaps on a rotation, and highlight the stuff they know all about on their boards, and one very nice person wouldn't have to try and actively track EVERYTHING on EVERY board.
Good job with that, by the bye. 
*checks for broken smilies*They could also solicit community feedback, even have a rotation of community writers for one or more boards, kinda wotmania weekly/wheneverish. That gets people involved without it just being some Admins doing more. You might even get someone to WRITE Rules and Help sections by the time the site's a year old.
