And we studied it at school.

Edvard Radzinsky's excellent biography of Rasputin touches upon it more than superficially.

I'm not sure how biased/incorrect our textbooks were, but nothing in the book really came as a big surprise to me. I wasn't sure about the Whites, but when I looked them up they were who I thought they were.

I really want to read more about it all, though. It's a very fascinating period of history.
