It was nice to have something different than wand-waving, spell-casting enchantment stuff. I liked all the bits about dividing the mind, and how having proper control of one's mind was essential for the magic; you had to have better control to do the multiple bindings and whatnot.

I hope we'll find out more about Naming in the later books.
