How's your reading been lately? Managing to keep up with the challenges?
Pretty much, yes. I think I've covered most of the categories in one form or other, now, and I should be able to get to 50 without too much trouble - much more seems unlikely, though, unless I start reading shorter books or just start reading more.
I've hardly started the Genre challenge yet.
Can you recommend a good family chronicle? I've read The Poisonwood Bible and that's the only thing I can think of currently.
And what have you read recently that you think we should pick up?
Well, Blood Meridian is a great book, see my review for more details, but hardly the sort of book I can recommend indiscriminately. Current read is another Trollope, the weakest one so far I feel, so I'd sooner recommend Can You Forgive Her? or Phineas Finn.
I've been meaning to read more Trollope for ages. Must do that.

I have read some lovely books recently. (Including my March/April challenge book.)

I considered reading Persepolis after seeing the film. Do you know how the comic compares to it? *NM*

It's really, you know, the same. Only without Chiara Mastroianni's voice, obviously. *NM*
