Dracula is the book I hope to review (properly) today. I love it. So very much. Rebekah Send a noteboard - 23/01/2011 10:08:34 AM
I am feeling much the same way about Dracula right now as you did about Sleepy Hollow. At this point I mostly just want to keep reading to finish the book and be done with it. I mean it is OK but not really good and it certainly wasn't what I expected. Maybe it will get better as I am at the point where all the characters have intersected and put the big picture together and are ready to hunt the Count. We'll see.

It might do. Depends on what you like.

I adore this book, there is so much of interest in it - it's a real slice of the late Victorian age. And I found it very scary.

I'll be interested to see your final response to it.

There's really only one high fantasy classic, no? Or two, if you count the Silm separately. *NM* - 23/01/2011 01:35:03 PM 510 Views
Perhaps Gormenghast? - 23/01/2011 01:58:50 PM 1208 Views
