Matt Staggs was sending me something. Which I've not received. Stupid mail system.

I don't suppose that was Steampunk? I cannot remember what it actually was.
Sounds good.
Gail Carriger's the only Steampunkish stuff I've read. What else should I try?
I do love the look of Steampunk. Victorian clothing with a twist and all the weird & wonderful gadgets. Pretty neat.
Any suggestions?
I'll be reviewing Steampunk Reloaded in a week or two, followed by reviewing an anthology of Brazilian/Portuguese steampunk, Vaporpunk, soon afterward.
Sounds good.

It's apparently Steampunk month. Or fortnight, depending on which publisher you look at.

And some enthusiast is apparently trying to build Babbage's original designs for a computer.

It would seem The Difference Engine is essential Steampunk reading; it largely spawned the genre.

Not high art, maybe, but well written, well paced and thought provoking.
