People keep reminding me that I need to read Wolfe. Rebekah Send a noteboard - 10/09/2010 05:21:39 PM
For example, the Book of the New sun was amazing to me because it took a far in the future version of our world and made it feel so alien and yet familiar at the same time. The masterful references to the lunar landing and hints at the ancient wreckage of derelict space-ships, along with numerous other hints, all came together in my mind to make it a story that truly had a sense of depth and history, with subtle parallels to the real world.

That is Wolfe, right? :P
