At least they aren't the usual stereotypes for the usual reasons, if that makes sense. While they are all men, they are also all pacifists. And the meddling women - well, no excuses there, actually. See Aes Sedai, Sisters of Light, etc etc.


Although that's just because when they were ... warlike they ruined an entire world. So I suppose there she has removed one stereotype and allowed men to learn something. :P
