If the cleansing of Saidar was completed successfully, then what is the cause of Rands weakness and nausea every time he channles? Just a question of mine that I haven't been able to work out on my own.


I personally thought he was getting the sickness from the taint originally. And that the sickness was staying with him. Which, if it is, the reason he's still getting sick when he channels, would be because the sickness is always with him, only amplified whenever he channels. But I could be completely wrong.
