I'd visited the site before and liked it a lot, but this is the first time I'd heard about the cartography project. I am a huge history enthusiast and love maps, so this was absolute heaven for me. I skimmed through it and looked at all the maps, but I'm definitely going to have to go and read it all the way through later!

Several new maps are coming. A few before TGS is out, many more after (I will have more time to devote to them once we're done with the read-throughs for this year).
The plan for early 2010 (I might even start in december) is to begin organizing the maps into an online atlas.
