Unlikely? Unlikely that the good guys never sort out basic issues of communication and information sharing?
Unlikely as it seems, Rand wasn't partway through sex with Berelain before she got greedy thoughts. He actually didn't have sex with her at all, and that sounds utterly improbable.
That seems all the more unlikely, considering how Rand would fall in love with a manipulative weirdo (Min), a violent nutjob (Aviendha), and the least romantic woman ever (Elayne). Not to mention the extra unlikeliness of this love, considering that the first time he had sex with two of these loving women, it meant little/nothing.
But, then again, putting up with Egwene for as long as he did sounds like the very definition of "unlikely."
And let's not forget that there is nothing more unlikely than saying that it is INTUITIVELY OBVIOUS who murdered a guy when several people threatened his life (Sam, Lanfear) recently and not the least bit of info about the murderer (like gender, hair color, human-status) is revealed...
