Your Power Postal system is very fleshed-out. I imagine problems - among others, making a route for grey men, BA, rats and DF - with constant gateways (or even at set intervals). It still sounds good, both different and similar to what the Rebel AS had at their camp. I like the letter-sized gateway idea, too.

I know that Sammael was lying just to get Graendal with him. Rat-fink stuff like that was probably what got RJ annoyed enough to toss SL's smoke monster at him. I DO think Sammael had some kind of way of knowing whether Rand took the deal or not.

What we know from the scene is that the messenger shows up, then speaks in Sammael's voice. After Rand says "no," the guy bleeds from every pore before dying. I'd love to know what weave does that! As I said, it may be a combination of compulsion and wards.

Does anybody know if you can feel your own wards activate from a distance?
