If you don't hold the Tower as important in its own right, Egwene doesn't have a hell of a lot to go on, and further accomplishments will be undercut by having the most powerful institution in the main region at her background.


Hm - so you DO acknowledge that the tower is important by virtue of being the most powerful institution in the Wetlands.

As for Elayne, I would certainly hope to see more from her. She still seems the most childish to me (trying to lead a cavalry charge? I wanted to spew).
