Re: the only dueling where a channeler tries to overpower is Nynaeve v. Moghedien

And Verin makes the attempt with Graendal and she barely escapes with her life... RIP Kumira. Rather telling that the least skilled of the title characters (and AS) takes this tactic.
And Daigian is more skilled than Verin based on what? Overpowering a channeler is not just shielding. Flinn tried to overwhelm Demandred and he did a good job of it.
Also, why so many ter'angreal that melt weaves, or warn of danger etc... if all a woman really needed to survive during the breaking was a good strong angreal so she could overwhelm any attacker?
Which is exactly what we see a vision of Alnora taking the remaining sa'angreal and walking off into the distance during Rand's reminiscence of the Age of Legends. It's also exactly what Egwene did when faced by attackers, and Alivia too.
You think like the AS ... Strength is all that matters, it's rather laughable how much they rely on strength. I think RJ instituted the strength hierarchy as simply one more way of illustrating the foolishness of the AS. Sadly it actually seems to discourage AS from learning more about the OP!
Even the Forsaken don't seem all that concerned with Strength, beyond a general notation that the are all incredibly strong. Skill is what they use to differentiate themselves.

Yes they don't think about strength, except for the fact that they're all ridiculously strong in the Power

In fact, I don't only care about strength - I merely read the series as RJ wanted it. Nynaeve is not the only example. Rand runs headfirst at the male Forsaken and he doesn't defeat them with tremendous skill. He uses good old fashioned balefire, or fireballs or lightning. Even the Forsaken use that against Rand.
I'd love to be a skilled channeler more than a strong one, but I'm under no illusions in battle. There's almost a 100% chance that an enemy will throw their whole power at you in a single weave. It's happened again and again in the series, with very little to zero showing otherwise.
You recurrently bring these back to strength debates, but I'm merely saying that people don't get fancy when they're fighting. They use simple weaves and all their power. It's all over the series, man.
Pointing out Egwene's ability to split flows merely highlights her extraordinary skill, it's an example nothing more. But when put in the context of Nynaeve being "clumsy" I think it paints a picture.
Nynaeve has still defeated Moghedien, and Moghedien is more powerful and more skilled that Egwene is, and might ever be. What can Egwene claim that is anything more than an academic example?
