Now you just need your 35 part series on her...

Unfortunately, I got sidetracked by the real world and didn't manage to save that whole series of yours (I only got the first ten or so), which sucks because I noticed - on the KoD entry - one instance that emphasized her arrogance. Oh well, if we're lucky you'll repost them. If not, maybe I can find someone who archived them who is willing to share. I only have one thing to add to this list...
She also manages to keep friends despite her treating them like trash. That, in and of itself, should be enough to impress even her harshest critics!
After all, how many people would forgive a friend who basically sent thugs to rape her, only stopping the scene when she had to beg for it, then had absolutely no regret whatsoever about it? How many people would still trust, however narrowly, a friend who constantly took the "enemy's" side no matter the circumstance and was willing not only to tell every secret of theirs that she knew but was also constantly physically attacking them when she knew they wouldn't fight back? And gloated over it to boot? For Egwene to be able to get away with such behavior, and still have her friends remain loyal to her - while she shows them absolutely no loyalty at all - she must be a goddess!
Reprinting an oldie:
2. She makes friends quickly.
This may not seem like much, but it means that when she betrays an old friend for a new one, at least she is always on the side of one of her friends. When she shared private information about Rand to the Wise Ones, it can be seen as helping her new pals, Amys and Bair and Melaine. When she took it upon herself to interfere in Rand's romantic life, she was not meddling in his affairs, she was helping out Elayne, whom she had known for about 1 whole year, next to a lifetime of Rand's friendship. When she bullies the sister who shows her the most respect, despite having the best reasons to treat her like a little girl she use to babysit, she is not being mean to Nynaeve, she is imitating her new buddy, Siuan. When she gets a lot more help from Mat than she ever gave him, she isn't using an old friend she has known all her life, she is being nice to...someone. It's too complicated to get into right now.

I particularly like how her declaration of love is practically the first thing she ever says to him.
