But why would Graendal teach her most potent weapon to the Black Ajah? She's well aware of how treacherous darkfriends can be. Besides that, there is no evidence that she has any darkfriends under her service. In the prologue she was alone in her palace with her pets, like all her previous PoV's.
I just wouldn't use her telling Sammael that as any kind of evidence. I agree with you that it's incredibly unlikely that she would though, based on what we know of her (unless she foresaw the need, which I don't buy).
