Could you please start at the beginning and tell me why a female Forsaken was involved in this scene?
From what I've read, and from Brandon's answers, SH arrived and did what he could and then he got Elza to go what he could not. It was those two alone.
Someone taught Elza AoL weaves enabling her to perform the tasks for SH, and someone figured out that she was under a Compulsion. We know SH in the past could not tell the difference between weaves so unless he's got a whole new array of abilities (which I acknowledge as possible), only one of the female Forsaken could have been responsible for Elza's knowledge.
Graendal is IMO the most likely since she's already in the area, is attached to Compulsion and was previously given orders to bring Rand pain ... this would seem like just another piece to that...

I think Graendal was involved on some level in this part of the story

I disagree

SH can't channel thus can't teach Elza anything *NM*

Yeah, but according to BS, he apparently could "give her the knowledge". *shrug* *NM*

that's your interpretation of the quote
15/01/2010 05:58:30 PM

This and the others quotes suggest that only SH and Elza were involved *NM*

As I said that's certainly one of of interpreting the quotes

The question is...

Yeah, as I said elsewhere, would be a nice question for BS, if there was another Forsaken. *NM*

I bet you anything he'd giva a big fat RAFO to that

BS spoke quite openly about this scene, though

always worth a try, but wasn't he asked to be less open recently?

I agree with you, for a related but slightly different reason ...

I don't understand your theory

It's very simple

So in other words

But...

Yes...

Weren't they specifically called Weaves that haven't been seen since the AoL?

"Elza had been given knowledge of several rarely known weaves" is the quote.

Elza truly believes that...

Elza "found a reason to follow the Compulsion"

Not quite
