Then there is the forging time involved on top of the channeler time ... and the fact that even very strong channelers wear out rather quickly ... so what you can at best produce a few a day if you sucked up every available smith and channeler.

The Asha'man are inventing all kinds of make-work tasks to force their recruits along, why not have them actually productive, at least the ones who are shown to have the cuendillar 'Talent'?
That's assuming that men's affinity for earth translates into skill with producing Cuendillar. If that's not the case, then yeah, completely infeasible.
But I doubt if we see it in the books. Maybe, maybe Aludra's Dragon storyline will involve her experimenting with Cuendillar lofting tubes. But I doubt we see any cuendillar weaponry.
