Channelers are more aware or sensitive of everything around them; things seem more sharper and clearer, but I don't think they could see in the dark, for example. It's probably like taking psychedelics.
On the other hand, a Wolfbrother's natural senses, namely seeing, smelling & hearing, are always enhanced akin to the senses of a wolf. As others said, you can even smell emotions then.
Therefore I would say that a Wolfbrother has better senses.
