Has been that I was into the series before I researched it on the net. That seems to be how I operate. Once I found out that WOT was something that I would stick with through the end, probably around the end of TDR or TSR, I found Wotmania and began looking at all of the theory posts, well ones that wouldn't spoil anything, and became more excited because of the online resources I found.

So I would say that the internet enhanced my overall excitement and knowledge of the series but I probably would've read to the end without it.
