Then how can you know? darius_sedai Send a noteboard - 04/01/2010 08:17:46 PM
I'm saying that none of us know, but IMO, the way I read the series, a women like Egwene is far closer to the FS than she is to Sheriam! I see no evidence at all that Moghedien is any more than 10% or so stronger than Egwene, just the fact that Elayne nor Egwene ever tells us indicates to me that she's not so far above them as to cause comment. Look how Alviarin and Sheriam react to Mesaana, and she's not even as strong as Nynaeve who they've both encountered!

Egwene and Elayne have done far too many things with the OP to be less than top shelf of strength (I say no less than 75% of maximum). The BWB states that only the truly strong innovated with the Power ... I'd consider rediscovering Traveling, making Ter'angreal and Cuendillar as "innovations" in this age... something no other woman in over 3000 years managed to do in the Westlands. Just like Nynaeve figured out how to Heal Stilling...

You can read it however you like (which really seems to me that it's all about making Lanfear more powerful for some reason), but you have never shown me anything conclusive enough to make me change my opinions.
