First, it would ruin the whole essence of sacrifice. "Hay, I'm back, and I really didn't have to pay a price. Don't romanticize/immortalize my actions ..."
Second, I'm not sure if that would allow her to break her oath of "until the hour of my death". If she knew that she wasn't really killing herself by drinking the poison ... It depends I guess. She was dying, yet knowing that it was only temporary ... I don't know.
