I (and it seems most others) rate TGS as one of the best books in the series: it's cleverly plotted, much exciting stuff happens (finally also really including the main character Rand again...), some old mysteries are revealed & there are some new ones.
Sure, BS made some mistakes, but considering that he isn't RJ, this was to be expected.
