Mainly all the scense with them walking, but nothing happening. I mean, most of the book, they are being pursued in one way or another. So it could still be exciting, but there is almost as much walking in EotW as there is in Fellowship. It could be cut down quite a bit.


I think when everyone gets split up after SL, you don't have to separate Perrin/Egwene, and Moraine, Lan, and Nyn. You can still have Perrin and Egwene get attacked by Whitecloaks, and still setup the bornhald(sp?) plot, but you can cut quite a bit out that way. Besides, both groups seem to show up in Caemlyn at roughly the same time. or close enough it wouldn't matter.

I agree that Fal Dara doesn't need to be shown, not yet anyways. It could be mentioned at the end, or have the final scene there, but they don't need to go there before hand.

I don't think that Rand and Tam need to return to the Farm before the Trolloc attack, they could be in EF, and Rand could be sitting with him while Moraine is out healing 'more serious' injuries, so Rand could hear Tam babble about finding him.

Most of Mat's and Rand's trip could be cut out. Showing Bayle, the Tower, and maybe one attack by DarkFriend's, but it doesn't need to be dragged out. Maybe meeting the Grinwell's and setting up some Ta'Varenness,
