It's importance lies in it's strategic location. Rurouni_Kenshin Send a noteboard - 16/12/2009 04:46:20 AM
Compared to the Shadowspawn in the Blight, the Asha'man in the Black Tower, the Aiel or the Seanchan, who cares about Murandy?

The fact that's it's politically disunited and ignored is a plus. He can take over and unify the country without any of the big players really paying attention to him and mass a huge army there. Not only of men, but of Trollocs whom he can bring through a waygate. (It's likely that Coremanda had one somewhere in the country). When the time comes he can blitz five different countries at once. It lies in the center of the land. From there he can attack north towards Caemlyn, southeast towards Far Madding, south towards Illian, southwest towards Ebou Dar, and to the west towards Jehannah.
When the Wolf King carries the hammer, thus are the final days known. When the fox marries the raven, and the trumpets of battle are blown.
