In contrast, Frodo is a real mood dampener with his constant whining, Belgarion is a bumbling idiot, the hunt for Prestor John and his Dragonbone chair is about as boring as a Shakespearian play and Thomas Covenant should just commit suicide and get over it.

David Gemmell and George Martin are my favourite two fantasy authors. Jon Shannow, ah, well, I like that character so much that I named myself after him.

"The wages of sin is death!" and all that. Classic stuff.
