Yeah, I think we've gotten down mostly to a difference of opinion on what should and shouldn't be allowed under the oath. Which is fine with me. At least we've been able to communicate well enough to be able to identify exactly where we differ.
I think, though, we've shown that there's a lot of subtlety to this issue. Maybe more than the authors even know is there.
The Cadsuane scene leaped out at me as something that felt "off" in the writing... at the end of the day, the Oaths are all plot devices that the author(s) have been somewhat loose about IMO.
