I can only say that I think Tolkien had the best writing I've ever seen in fantasy, and that whoever stole my original copy of The Lord of the Rings, forcing me to buy a new one and allowing me to finally read it in English is to be blessed a thousand times.
EDIT: All I need now is for you to tell me you enjoyed The Prince of Nothing and that'll be the final nail in the coffin .
