I mean, how much help did she really give to Egwene? The BA was revealed (and many escaped) anyway. For all we know, the DO has promised her immortality/transmigration and she's used the letters to sow chaos.

That said, I highly doubt this is the case. The biggest helpers of the DO are generally Lightsiders, after all (Elaida, Masema, Seanchan etc).
