2.Regarding channeler strength not tied to the soul. That's slightly problematic given Demandred and Mesaana's comments about Cyndane. Because if channeler strength is dependent on the body, and not the soul, then Demandred had no reason to think that Cyndane is not Lanfear just based on Mesaana's comment that Cyndane is weaker than Lanfear was.
If strength was dependent on the new body then channeler strength could never be an indicator of who a transmigrated channeler had been before. Demandred would surely know this.

Transmigration may have a totally different affect on this though. From the quote I only see that a Channeler's strength (and Spark/no-spark) is tied to the body they are reborn into.
A Transmigrated soul literally invades a body and seemingly brings with it previous abilities. Judging from Aran'gar and Osan'gar who didn't have noted changes when they took new bodies.
IMO there doesn't seem to be a link between what Bsand said about a reborn soul and what seems to be a different set of rules for transmigrated souls.

A very interesting answer regarding Channeler strength... might explain Cyndane even? *NM*

Interesting. My view on how there could be 20 million Trollocs and a Cyndane strength problem...
