Faile is a rather wretched person, isn't she?

from page 328:
She'd spent the evening with her husband, reminding of several important reasons why he'd married her in the first place.
The reason he married her was that she extorted it from him! She forced him to marry her by taking advantage of his need to keep her safe from the Trollocs and to get help for the Two Rivers to demand a wedding. And THAT is how she thanks him for rescuing her from durance vile?! By rubbing her blackmail into his face? What a bitch!
Of course some people might suggest that sex is implied by this line, but since they did not have premarital sex, or that Perrin seems to have been completely immune to sexual desire for her before their marriage, I doubt that is a reason why he married her, much less an important one!
