One was how to win and live. The answer was to unit the north/east and south/west, and "to live, you must die".
Another referred to cleansing the source (and possibly other things too).
As for the BA Oaths, all we know is pretty much what Verin has said. Anything else would simply impede either the functionality of BA members or the need to maintain selfishness.
