You can run it through openings, etc, but when the opening aka the ter'angreal, melted it, it snapped shut cutting the string.


I figured that she had not been stilled (though really I mean who can say) but that since the open connection between the two worlds was severed, the bond was cut off. As long as a functioning portal between the worlds operated, such as in Tear, the bond could still work, I assumed.
