And with the BA plotline being pretty much resolved now, I don't really see how the letter would have such an impact.
The letter, which Rand takes to be sincere, could give her an opening to insinuate herself into his circle.
I tend to favor the dice idea myself, but I don't think the letter would be entirely outside the realm of possibility.
to be called a "minor detail". I smell a wild goose chase here... I think BS is being clever and will be able to point back to something after the fact and say "oh it was Charn's Red Dress Boots from Rands experience at Rhudien".
