As for Niall, I rather suspect his actions were done at his own initiative. Asunawa and Valda, I have no idea.
Really, I simply see no purpose to Demandred ruling Murandy. It's so... inconsequential.

I haven't ever seen DomA's case for it being Lanfear... how on earth would she have had the time?? The Creator knows in those early days she was busy busy until her demise... when does a girl get some sleep??
Well, inconsequential sort of suits Demandred IMO... and if fits RJs sense of honor when it comes to evil ... Demandred's eternal backseat to LTT kind of fits with him being stuck running a backwater nation as a 2nd rate king
I'll say this, while I think Demandred is Roederan, I also won't be shocked if he turned out to be someone totally different... OMG what if he turns out to be Bashere!?!?! (jk)
Domani Drag Queen in the White Tower ... Aran'gar watch out!

I believe that this may be his primary location. However, he has been involved in FAR more...

They can be close without physical closeness. It means they must work in concert, that's all. *NM*

Could be, but I think the physical tug they feel toward one another tends to work against that idea. *NM*

Even though I think he's in Seanchan, Murandy is positioned for him to fight at Caemlyn.

Yeah, but his quote implies that his rule or armies are significant.

I don't agree - mainly because Murandy is such a mess.
