She was so sure she knew what both Rand and Elaida's embassy were doing that it took Sulin to figure out he'd been kidnapped, and thus days of torture before he was free. I really can't fault her on the DB, but I can see why Rand does. It's the same old thing: The price of insisting you're perfect is finding out you aren't, and when you're very very good it only makes your rare failures that much more unexpectedly epic.
Well since Caddy didn't show up in the story until well after Rand's kidnapping this is quite a neat trick. Caddy had 0 input on this one. And actually it was Berelain that first made the realization, tho Sulin quickly confirmed it.
Also Caddy's tactics worked quite well up to tGS. Note that it was Rand that asked her to become his advisor, not the other way around. Also up to tGS (when BWS significantly changed her) the conditions she had listed at the beginning...and Rand agreed to...she followed. It has only been in this last volume where she has changed and Rand has become massively suspicious of her (tho to be truthful he had become massively suspicious of everyone)
NaCl(you certainly can't blame it all on Caddy...especially the kidnapping)H2O

I hope he sticks to how RJ wanted it to play out.

He has said he wouldn't change the way RJ wanted it. The spanking scene was an example. *NM*

I don't think he meant literally "like" that scene. Cadsuane's not going to get switched/spanked/etc

That's what I've always expected.
